A Bite of the Big Apple in the Philippines

Being the financial capital of the United States, New York City is home to soaring skyscrapers that form an incomparable world-famous skyline. From high-rise office buildings, luxury hotels and residential apartments, this “concrete jungle” has been a dream home and workplace to many Americans and other nationalities as well, and a dream destination to many travelers. But the “city that never sleeps” is not just about towering structures and flashing lights. In fact, its most visited spot is filled with nature and sprawling greens—the 340-hectare Central Park in Manhattan, New York, that serves as a go-to place for New Yorkers and visitors who wish to relax and breathe amidst a stressful city life. Apartments and hotels right across Central Park or with breathtaking views of its greeneries often come with a hefty price tag.

This yin-yang balance of the dynamic city and calming nature sparked the inspiration for the Araneta Group to replicate the “Big Apple” lifestyle right here in the Philippines. Allotting 5.7 hectares of its very own Araneta City, it partnered with real estate innovator Megaworld to unveil one of the grandest residential developments in the country—the 18-tower Manhattan Gardens. The first three residential blocs of this condominium complex have been completed: the 3-tower Manhattan Parkway Residence along Aurora Boulevard and Gen. Malvar Avenue; the 3-tower Manhattan Parkview Residence and its townhouse-style Garden Villas right at the back of New Frontier Theater; and the 4-tower Manhattan Heights along Gen. Romulo Avenue across Ali Mall. These towers have extremely transformed the skyline of Araneta City, with its striking modern colors and unique architectural design, making the vision of having a piece of New York come to reality.

A Garden-Inspired Community

Amidst the bustling city life in this side of the metropolis, Manhattan Gardens becomes your quiet spot and sanctuary. At the 4th level of the podium where the residential units start, there are wide open spaces filled not only with world-class recreational amenities, but magnificent landscaped gardens that let you forget you are still in the city. Anywhere you stroll at this elevated level, there are greeneries that make you calm down, clear up your mind, and simply connect to nature, just like in New York City’s Central Park.

At the third phase, Manhattan Heights, the slightly curving design of its buildings allowed the creation of Sky Gardens for each of its four towers. These open spaces are like your own elevated mini-park in the sky, where you can walk around or just sit down and enjoy the variety of plants around you, while embracing the breeze at this higher level.

Be Connected to a Vibrant Neighborhood

At the ground level of the podium of all the towers of Manhattan Gardens, there are retail arcades that host numerous commercial establishments for your basic daily needs—from convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy, salon and spa, banks, and many more. But your neighborhood at Araneta City has a lot more to offer, and you can reach all these in style and convenience. Once the four residential phases get completed, they will be interconnected with elevated footbridges. These footbridges, where there are garden walkways along it, are safe passages exclusive for Manhattan Gardens residents leading to the rest of the Araneta City.

Currently, the bridge between Manhattan Parkway and Manhattan Parkview is already existing and accessible. Then, from a grand glass-domed structure called “The Link” at Manhattan Parkview, there’s another footbridge connecting to New Frontier Theater and Gateway Mall. Through this, residents do not need to go to the ground level anymore. Instead, they can simply walk along the bridges safely and conveniently, and go to the different shopping malls, markets, groceries, and leisure destinations in Araneta City. Alimall, SM Cubao, Shopwise and Araneta Cyber Park are also now connected by footbridges, because this connectivity is part of the Araneta City’s redevelopment masterplan. You can also conveniently reach the stations of MRT-3 and LRT-2, as well as other public transport terminals, by passing through these safe pathways.

Connecting Yourself to a Luxurious Lifestyle

Like a true New Yorker, you can indulge in a luxurious lifestyle as Manhattan Gardens offers top-rate recreational amenities and facilities. As a resident, you can enjoy the refreshing swimming pools, with separate pools for adults and for kids. There are also multi-purpose courts, playground, fitness gym, daycare center, game room, spa, function rooms—all for your pleasure every day.

Tower 1 of the final bloc, Manhattan Plaza, is now ready for occupancy with few remaining units left. Its Tower 2 is under pre-selling stage and currently on full-swing construction. Executive studios are perfect for students and bachelors, and are also the top choice among investors who intend to rent out their condo units, which can be long-term lease contracts or for short staycations like BNBs. Starting and growing families often opt for one-bedroom or two-bedroom homes for more space. All unit types at Manhattan Plaza come with balconies, giving you an amazing and breathtaking vista of Metro Manila or the Rizal mountains.
